Couple Jake Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown adopted a baby girl in 2025
The Stranger Things actress – who, with her 24-year-old husband, Jake Bongiovi, adopted a baby girl in 2025 – thinks all moms should be celebrated for how they started a family.
Millie, 22, told Extra: “We’re all mothers, and no matter if we’re adoptive mothers, birth mothers – a maternal figure. Everybody should be celebrated.
“Everybody is raising beautiful children, hopefully, and we’re raising the next generation. So, of course, women should be celebrated in every way, and every day.”
In September 2025, the Enola Holmes alum was declared a “natural-born mother” by her Stranger Things co-star, Cara Buono.
Cara, 55, told You magazine: “Millie has an old soul and brain. She’s a natural-born mother, she’s amazing; one of the most ‘together’ people I know and with an incredible work ethic.”
The Sopranos star Cara added that she feels “protective” of the young actress and hated seeing her being bombarded with abuse on social media.
Cara said: “Millie was a child, and no one should ever be treated like that. It’s outrageous and disgusting that people don’t have anything better to do. I’m protective of Millie – I’m protective of all of them.”
Millie picked her Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp to be the godfather to her and Jake’s daughter.
Last year, she told Entertainment Tonight: “Sadie [Sink] is very, very maternal, but Noah’s her godfather.”
Noah, 21, declared it the “greatest joy” to see Millie enjoying life as a mom.
He said: “Aw, it’s honestly the greatest joy. It’s actually crazy to me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent, young, silly girl, and now she’s a mom and married. And I’m just so proud of her.”
Also in 2025, Millie hinted that she wants to have more children with Jake – whom she married at Villa Cetinale, a luxurious 17th-century Baroque villa in Tuscany, Italy, in May 2024.
Appearing on an episode of the SmartLess podcast, The Electric State cast member told hosts, actors Jason Bateman, 57, Will Arnett, 56, and 55-year-old Sean Hayes: “I really want a big family. I’m one of four, he’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future.”
