Watch Hayley Williams bring out multiple friends at Newport Folk Festival

Hayley Williams brought out tons of friends during her set at Newport Folk Festival at Fort Adams State Park over the weekend.

She started with “Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party” and “Kill Me” before bringing out Wednesday vocalist Karly Hartzman to play a heavier take on “Mirtazapine.”

This Is Lorelei’s Nate Amos, who joined Williams’ tour earlier this year as one-half of Water From Your Eyes, sang his track “I’m All Fucked Up.” Joy Oladokun came out for her song “I’d Miss The Birds” before Williams sang a duet with Liam Benzvi on his song “Thin Air,” and Annie DiRusso joined to sing “Disappearing Man” from Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party.

Jenny Lewis performed “Silver Lining,” while Kelsey Lu appeared for the first live performance of “Leave It Alone” and stayed onstage as Lucy Dacus joined them for the live debut of “Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris.” Williams also joined Dacus during her set for “Bullseye.” 

Remi Wolf also took the stage to premiere a new song, “Twiggy Little Butt.” Phoenix Rousiamanis joined Williams for “True Believer,” and Madi Diaz teamed up with Lu for the first live performance of “Find Me Here.”

Later in the show, Williams reunited with collaborator Jack Antonoff for an acoustic rendition of Bleachers’ “I Wanna Get Better,” before they performed “Good Ol’ Days” together. She wrapped up the set by bringing many of the day’s guests back onstage for a group performance of Bill Withers’ classic “Lean On Me.”
