Princess Lilibet makes Duchess Meghan feel brave
The 45-year-old duchess and her husband Prince Harry, 41, have children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, together and in a promotional video for her new documentary, Cookie Queens, Meghan opened up about motherhood being her “superpower”.
In a Q A video with InStyle magazine, where she was questioned by young children, Meghan was asked what her superpower was and replied: “Being a mum.”
She went on: “I feel like we have superpowers because we juggle it all and enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time.”
Asked what makes her feel brave, Meghan said: “Every day, when I feel a little bit like, ‘Oh gosh, can I do this?’ I go: ‘Lili would do it.’”
In another question asking Meghan which cookie she would be, she replied: “Trefoil I think, it’s classic! It’s classic, it’s sweet, it’s all the same and I like tonal dressing! It’s the worst answer ever.”
Meghan added that young girls should learn to “follow their gut” and said her role model when she was younger was her maths teacher, Miss Linda.
When asked how the girl scouts inspired her, she replied: “These girls are so multi-dimensional and honest.
“Also just behind the scenes and getting to know them through this process, how they’ve all become close with each other and support each other. I think we’re our own little troop!”
Meghan and Harry have produced the new documentary film about Girl Scouts selling cookies through their Archewell production company, alongside Beautiful Stories and AJNA Films.
The documentary, which had its premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, follows “four tenacious girls (who) strive to be a top-selling ‘Cookie Queen”.
Speaking about the documentary at Sundance, Meghan said: “This film is probably the cutest at the festival but I’m also going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions of something that is an American tradition and rooted in nostalgia.
“It is now put through this lens from the incredible creative vision of Alysa to show something modernised about the girlhood experience and all the layers of complexity that come with that.
“So yes, it’s cute, and yes, these young ladies are fantastic and adorable, but they are also layered beautiful girls who are about to become very strong leaders and young women. So thank you for supporting that.”
