Kash Doll brought her daughter along for a special “take-your-daughter-to-work day” in Detroit.
On Tuesday, the musician took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos of the sweet moment with fans.
“Take your daughter to work day my baby doll was a good sport though she gonna come with me more often! Thank you Detroit for even calling me for this amazing event! I’m always honored ,” she wrote.
Kash Doll is mom to two children, Klarity and Kashton, whom she shares with ex Tracy T.
Recently, the rapper sat down with Keke Palmer on the Baby,This Is Keke Palmer podcast, where she candidly spoke about the challenges of juggling motherhood and her music career.
“I’m struggling with balance, you know, it’s not easy. I just have to prioritize things differently, ‘cause I’ve been off a little bit.”
She added that time away from her kids, while not easy, allows her to rest and return to them fully present.
“Yeah, you know what, sometimes I just be like, ‘Well let me just at least get my sleep while I’m away. When I get back home, I’m going to have to be a mom full-time.’ At least I get to rest and get recharged to come back to them. For them to live the life that I want them to live, they’re going to have to understand mommy’s got to work,” she shared.
Kash Doll also reflected on how becoming a mother shifted her perspective, particularly when it came to her relationship with Tracy T.
“My son Kashton, he gave me a pair of eyes. As far as Klarity, she brought clarity, and that’s why my situation that I was in, you know with their dad, I couldn’t do it no more.”
