Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is digging into one of the biggest horror hits of the year, and this one feels like a perfect match. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners is officially getting its own haunted attraction at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights 2026.
Fans of the vampire thriller are going to be thrown directly into the nightmare when the haunted house transports guests to Club Juke, the unforgettable setting from the film where things spiral into chaos fast.
Inside the attraction, guests will come face-to-face with the terrifying vampires Remmick, Bert, and Joan as they stalk the shadows with glowing red eyes and an endless hunger for blood.
The experience will also feature several characters pulled straight from the movie including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, and Cornbread. Guests will find themselves trapped in the middle of the brutal fight between Smoke and Stack and the vicious vampire threat while trying to survive until sunrise.
Universal Orlando’s event kicks off on August 28, while Universal Studios Hollywood starts unleashing the horror on September 3.
The creative team behind the film is clearly excited to see the world of Sinners evolve into a full-blown live horror experience. Producers Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian shared in a joint statement:
“It’s been incredible to see audiences connect with Sinners in such a powerful way. Now, partnering with Halloween Horror Nights gives fans the chance to step even deeper into the world of the film — to feel the music, the atmosphere and the tension all around them. Watching it come to life on this scale has been really special for all of us.”
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights team also teased that this house will push the event into some new territory. John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, said:
“At Halloween Horror Nights, we push the boundaries of what a live horror experience can be. Just as Ryan Coogler’s Academy Award winning film Sinners re-invented the vampire movie, we are re-inventing the haunted house and creating new ways to scare our guests that we’ve never attempted and are thrilled to bring this amazing story to life in a truly terrifying and fully immersive way.”
Meanwhile, Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort, explained why the movie was such an easy fit for the event:
“The moment Sinners premiered, we knew it was an undeniable fit for Halloween Horror Nights and it’s an honor to bring this story to life. It’s rare for a film to fully satisfy hardcore horror fans while also inviting new audiences into the genre—and that’s exactly what Sinners does. Its world, characters and intensity will translate into a relentless haunted house.”
Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood will run for a massive 42 nights this year and include eight haunted houses, the Terror Tram, scare zones, live entertainment, and more. Guests can also grab several ticket options including General Admission, Frequent Fear Passes, Ultimate Fear Passes, Express Tickets, and R.I.P. Tours.
Over in Orlando, Halloween Horror Nights celebrates its 35th year with 48 select nights running through November 1. The event promises 10 brand-new haunted houses along with scare zones, live shows, street experiences, and more surprises still waiting to be revealed.
Universal is also rolling out Sinners merchandise ahead of the event. Fans can already pick up limited-edition shirts, hats, and an acrylic collectible figure inspired by the haunted house at Universal Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, and online.
Sinners already had atmosphere, creepy vampire mythology, intense characters, and a killer setting. Turning that into a haunted house sounds like an awesome fit for HHN, especially if Universal really leans into the music, tension, and blood-soaked chaos of Club Juke.
