Jackie Long is celebrating his very first Father’s Day as a dad.
The actor took to Instagram on Sunday to mark the occasion with a tribute to his daughter, Jackie Marie Long, whom he shares with partner Sloan Byrd.
Sharing a series of family photos, Long reflected on how fatherhood has become the most important role of his life.
“My first Father’s Day… y’all know what I do for a living, but God has blessed me with the best role yet – becoming a father,” he wrote. “Forever my greatest blessing.”
Long also joked about finally having a masterpiece of his own.
“I always get asked, ‘do you have a Picasso in your house?’ I do now. JACKIE MARIE LONG!”
Byrd also honored Long with a message of her own.
“Watching @jackielong become a dad has been the best,” she wrote. “Loving & showing up for the both of us comes naturally to him, & I’ve met a version of him that I’ve never seen before. I have fallen in love all over again. We love you! Happy first father’s day.”
Long and Byrd welcomed Jackie Marie Long on March 19, 2026. The couple announced her arrival with an emotional birth video that captured the moment their baby girl entered the world.
“03/19/2026 Jackie Marie Long,” they wrote in the caption.
Jackie Long first revealed that he and Byrd were expecting back in October 2025 with a Halloween-themed post. In the image, Byrd’s baby bump was painted like a basketball.
He later confirmed they were expecting a girl in January, writing, “On Jesus daddy I can’t wait for this little girl to be in my arms.”
Ahead of their daughter’s arrival, Long and Byrd also shared maternity photos, with Byrd captioning the images, “a little bit of me, a little bit of you.”
