Delta Goodrem has unveiled details of her forthcoming eighth studio album ‘Pure’, a sweeping new project set for release on 6 November 2026 via Universal Music. The announcement arrives at a pivotal moment in the artist’s career, as she prepares to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with her new single ‘Eclipse’.
In what will be her first studio album in five years, following 2021’s ‘Bridge over Troubled Dreams’, and signals a fresh creative chapter for the pop-piano powerhouse. Early descriptions from her camp suggest a record that leans into contrast: stripped-back, intimate piano-led compositions set against expansive, cinematic pop production.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Goodrem says: “‘Pure’ is an album I’ve been creating and living through over the past few years, and it truly feels like a return to myself and the heart of who I am as an artist. It holds some of my biggest singalongs, my most vulnerable moments, and brings in all the elements I love most in music – from intimate classical piano pieces to uplifting cinematic anthems. I cannot wait for everyone to step into the world of Pure and make these songs part of their own story too.”
The rollout also reflects a significant shift in Goodrem’s industry setup. Following her departure from Sony Music, she has aligned with Universal Music via Better Now Records/Electrola while continuing to develop her independent imprint ATLED Records. The move places ‘Pure’ at the centre of a newly recalibrated creative and commercial strategy.
To mark the album’s release, Goodrem will head out on the road in June for a five-date run across Europe as part of her Pure: Prelude tour. Kicking off in London on June 24th, the mini jaunt will visit Manchester, Paris and Amsterdam, before wrapping up in Berlin on July 2nd.
