Pop’s newest it-girls, XO, are making waves once again with the announcement that their debut EP, ‘Fashionably Late’, is set to drop next month!
Featuring six innovative, genre-bending tracks — including the singles ‘Lovesick’ and ‘Real Friends’ (co-written with Charli XCX) — the highly anticipated project will be available to download and stream from November 14th, 2025, via the Polydor Label Group.
Carefully crafted to capture the full arc of a night out — from getting ready (‘Rush Hour’) and taking charge (‘Candy’), to catching feelings (‘Lovesick’) and ending the night with your friends (Real Friends) — the EP also tells XO’s origin story, showcasing how the super fierce quintet have grown both emotionally and artistically since their formation back in 2024.
Sonically mirroring their distinct personalities — bold, raw, unapologetic, and refreshingly offbeat — and lyrically shaped by their shared experiences, the EP offers fans an authentic snapshot into the lives of Emmy, Reanna, Shali, Summer and Zoe.
Take ‘Silly Boy’, for instance, a track Zoe and Shali wrote in an Uber as a defiant response to catcalling, or ‘Ponytail’, a DIY fan favourite and the first song they created together in late 2024 — an ironically titled anthem encouraging you to let your hair down. That same sense of unity and rebellion runs through the ‘Fashionably Late’ aesthetic, a playful nod to ‘Wannabe’ that sees XO hitting the streets and inviting fans to join them for the ride.

This week, the girls also announced their first-ever headline tour — which sold out instantly — and will see them hit cities across the UK later this month.
