My Unorthodox Life season 2 has come and gone, and there’s curiosity surrounding Julia Haart’s post-filming life. Most of the show’s second season focused on the upheavals that Julia faced in her marriage with Silvio Scaglia, whom she wed in 2019.
They were navigating a messy split. During the season, Julia touched on Silvio’s allegedly turbulent relationships with her kids, Batsheva Haart, Shlomo Haart, Miriam Haart, and Aron Hendler.
Besides Julia and Silvio’s split, My Unorthodox Life season 2 also focused on her losing her job at Silvio’s modeling and talent agency, Elite World Group.
Silvio fired Julia from her job as CEO, alleging that she misappropriated company funds and abused her position. However, Julia, who was shocked by Silvio’s actions, denied the allegations. She has maintained her innocence.
Although the show’s second season shed more light on Julia and Silvio’s divorce, it was filmed between January 31, 2022, and April 12, 2022.

After Silvio fired her, Julia filed a lawsuit claiming that he named her Elite World Group’s co-owner, following their marriage in 2009. Therefore, Julia claimed that she owned 50% of the company.
However, in May 2022, a judge ruled that Julia didn’t own that portion of the firm. In July 2022, Julia filed another lawsuit, suing her estranged husband for $257 million.
She also accused him of bullying and abusing her. Yet again, a judge dismissed the case, but gave Julia exclusive use of her and Silvio’s shared penthouse, which features in My Unorthodox Life.

Although Julia was entangled in messy legal problems, she kept busy, as she was preparing her book for publication. Eventually, in April 2022, she published Brazen: My Unorthodox Journey From Long Sleeves To Lingerie.
The book details the first half of Julia’s life, focusing on her childhood, her married life in Monsey, and how she left the community. It also delved into her designing her shoe line and becoming a creative director at the luxury intimates brand, La Perla.

When Julia and Silvio’s intense battle over the ownership of Elite World Group was happening, they had yet to finalize their divorce. Today, they’re still entangled thanks to a fierce battle over their penthouse.
See her talk about her divorce in the clip shown above. During a December 2022 chat with The Times of Israel, Julia revealed that she appealed in Delaware, and filed defamation and fraud lawsuits against Silvio. She added,
I feel very confident about my fraud lawsuit. But in the meanwhile, since we’re fighting about control of EWG and I don’t have access to it, I realized I don’t want to sit still.
The judge dismissed both of Julia’s lawsuits. She was given the right to live in the penthouse, but Silvio was declared the true owner of Elite World Group.
Julia was surely very disappointed by those decisions, but maybe some part of her saw it coming. She’s a bright woman who likely realized that she was going to lose in court. Some of her legal strategies may have been PR moves.

Meanwhile, her ex has moved on with another woman. Silvio is engaged to Michelle-Marie Heinemann. The blonde woman is a fixture at elite social events where moneyed people gather to play.
Since she’s a socialite, Michelle-Marie may have a lot of time to devote to her mate. On the show, Julia was always busy. Sometimes, spending time with Silvio wasn’t exactly her top priority.

Amid her marital issues and lawsuits, Julia ensures that her relationships with her kids are good. Evidence from Julia’s Instagram page shows that she and Batsheva have continued going to therapy.
The mother-daughter duo also attended Moët & Chandon’s ‘Your Voices’ Holiday Celebration. In addition, Julia adds other candid moments with her daughter. One post showed her and Batsheva making Tzatziki.
Julia also spent time with her kids during Thanksgiving, and shared a cute snap of them on her Instagram page.

No divorce is easy, but Julia and Silvio’s is particularly acrimonious, and one thing they’re still fighting over is a really, really luxurious Big Apple penthouse. It’s situated at 70 Vestry Street in the city that never sleeps.
The building’s shown above, as per 70vestrynyc at Instagram. As of March 2024, according to Wealth Advisor, Silvio’s lender JP Morgan Chase wants what is owed on the property, which is a cool 33 million dollars. When Silvio purchased the condo, it cost 55 million bucks.
There’s big equity in the property, and it’s unclear who keeps that money, but it’s probably Silvio, based on court decisions to date.
According to the publication, Julia never made mortgage payments while living in the condo after her split. The place is sumptuous, with a gallery, a couple of kitchens and a gorgeous terrace.
The glam abode was meant to be a haven for one-percenters, but Julia may not be flush with cash. She appears to believe that the mortgage payments are her ex’s responsibility.
It’s quite possible that she can’t afford to make those payments without SIlvio’s help, although there’s currently no proof of this.
This year, the courts need to decide what happens with the penthouse and when they do, this article will be updated. For now, the fate of the blue-chip property is hanging in the balance.
Julia surely wants to keep her home, but the amount owing on the condo is major. So, she may well lose the right to live there.

Lately, Julia’s been very political on Instagram, showing vehement support for Israel amid its controversial conflict with Hamas. Before she began posting heated opinions about this, the proud Jewish woman honored her heritage (and supported Israel) by taking the Matzah Challenge, as seen in Julia’s Instagram post (it’s shown above).
Jewish cuisine is often irresistible and when Julia started throwing butter in the pan, things soon became tantalizing. To basic Matzah that she smushed up, she added salt, eggs, milk and pepper.
After mixing those ingredients in a bowl, she poured them in a pan. Then, she cooked a treat that she and her daughter could enjoy. Julia seems quite adept in the kitchen. She’s a woman with many talents and so much charisma. While she hasn’t won in court so far, she has plenty to play for.

However, with Julia, everything’s always unpredictable. This fiery Aries woman crackles with energy – Julia’s electric. However, her plans have fallen through in the past. Hopefully, she’ll be able to build the kind of success that gives her true security. What’s a certainty is the fact that Julia will never stop fighting for her own happiness.

Julia made the scene in the ritzy Hamptons on July 25, 2024, as seen in the clip above. It looked like a fun day – some of the area’s “A-list” mingled while enjoying cocktails, flaunting some chic, summery dresses (and shopping for more of them), and watching polo.
Some big celebs were there, including Quentin Tarantino’s former muse, Uma Thurman, who appeared in Pulp Fiction and played “The Bride” in Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2.
It looked like a charity event, possibly for the Room2Grow non-profit, which helps mothers in need by giving them baby supplies during their infants’ formative years.
Another scenario is that Room2Grow was one of the organizations that sponsored the event. Another may be Jill & Ally, as both companies’ names were featured on a backdrop which the attendees posed in front of.
Julia’s always been entrepreneurial and a fashionista, so it’s not a surprise that she wore a fun frock to the event. As she prefers, it was short with a tight bodice.
The Real Housewives of New York City icon Jill Zarin was tagged in Julia’s post. Jill is currently running a candle brand with her daughter Ally Shapiro. The candles are marketed as manifestation candles – each candle has an embedded crystal. The Jill & Ally website also sells pickleball paddles.
Julia isn’t a shy woman, and she seemed very at home at this social event. In fact, she stands out wherever she goes. While marriage didn’t work out for her and she didn’t get what she perceived as her fair share in court, life goes on. Julia keeps promoting herself and she’s living it up in the Hamptons this summer.
In addition to spending time with her kids, Julia from My Unorthodox Life is always supporting feminist causes – this is admirable. She’s been through a lot and handled the difficulties bravely.
Now, she’s focusing on selling lingerie so glam it can be worn on dates or to the club (yes, without anything on top). Julia is staying focused on achieving her goals, and she is certainly an exciting reality star.
