A decade after the launch of UNTOLD, legends are lingering and imagination is running wild for the festival’s historic 10th anniversary in the heart of Transylvania.
The organizers of the massive Romanian festival have been building an entire universe in that time. They’re now returning to the city of Cluj-Napoca from August 7–10 for what has the feel of the brand’s most dramatic and impressive festival yet, with eight stages, 200 artists and roughly 400,000 fans dancing under the night sky of this magical pocket of Europe.
They’ve now unveiled another wave of artists for UNTOLD X at the Cluj Arena, adding to a lineup that meets the moment of its milestone anniversary.
Thursday, August 7th kicks off with a stacked Mainstage featuring Topic, Tujamo, an exclusive Don Diablo performance and an extended set from Dutch dance music legend Tiësto. Over on the Galaxy stage, techno and house music enthusiasts can catch Black Coffee, Nusha and more while Ben Böhmer and Parra for Cuva bring dreamy vibes on the Daydreaming stage.
Friday brings a standout performance from Post Malone—his first-ever in Romania—and a special show by trance icon Armin van Buuren. Dom Dolla and ARTBAT will heat up the Galaxy stage, while Sébastien Léger and Mano Le Tough guide the Daydreaming crowd through lush, melodic grooves.
Saturday belongs to hip-hop superstar Metro Boomin, delivering his only European festival set of the year alongside EDM titans Alok, Alan Walker, HUGEL and Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello on the Mainstage. Galaxy welcomes Chicago house music luminary Green Velvet and Daydreaming will feature Röyksopp and Jan Blomqvist, among others.
Sunday, August 10th closes out UNTOLD X with a massive finale led by Martin Garrix, who will perform an “UNTOLD Special Show” on the Mainstage, where Anyma, FISHER, Becky Hill, INNA and more will also perform. Adriatique and Marco Carola helm the Galaxy stage, while the Daydreaming zone winds down with Bob Moses, Shimza and Pachanga Boys.
That somehow only scratches the surface of the lineup, which is still unfolding and also includes a can’t-miss performance by drum & bass superstar Wilkinson on the Alchemy stage. Dubstep legend Rusko will also throw down at Alchemy, which features a slew of local talents as well.
