Tom Cruise fans are having a great 2025. As more information is revealed about Cruise’s next project — an Alejandro González Iñárritu movie alongside John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, and Riz Ahmed — the actor’s final action-packed adventure as the legendary Ethan Hunt drew big crowds in global theaters. Although the movie’s enormous production budget doomed it to lose money overall, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning still took home just shy of $600 million worldwide, and currently sits as the ninth highest-grossing movie of the year.

Now, 2025 just got a little bit greater for Cruise fans, as the first five movies in the Mission: Impossible franchise have joined the streaming site Starz. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to binge-watch them all. Each of Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible II, Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, joins an eye-catching selection of other movies, including Zoe Saldaña’s 2011 revenge thriller Colombiana, Dwayne Johnson’s The Scorpion King, the vampire movie Van Helsing, and much more.

In total, the Mission: Impossible franchise has earned just shy of $5 billion at the global box office, making it one of the most lucrative franchises in movie history. The first entry, directed by Brian De Palma, raked in a respectable $457 million, with John Woo’s second earning $549 million, and J.J. Abrams’ third disappointingly dropping to $399 million. After another five-year hiatus, the franchise returned to almost $700 million with Ghost Protocol, with Rogue Nation earning almost as much, and 2018’s Fallout was the biggest earner at $786 million. 2023’s Dead Reckoning earned $565 million, with the final entry, as mentioned previously, finishing just short of $600 million.

How Good Was ‘The Final Reckoning’?

Despite not hitting the financial heights required for box office success, The Final Reckoning was still a triumph, with many fans calling it a worthy way to end the franchise. In Ross Bonaime’s review of the movie for Collider, he awarded the film a strong 8/10, saying, “As the presumed conclusion to at least this version of this franchise (it certainly feels that way), The Final Reckoning is stuffed, convoluted, and ludicrous at times.” He continued, “But it’s also mostly a great send-off to this universe, a deserved celebration for everything this series has accomplished, and one final (again, seemingly) showcase for Cruise as one of the greatest action stars of all time.”

The first five Mission: Impossible movies are now streaming on Starz. Make sure to stay tuned to Collider for more streaming updates.
