The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright BLASTS Donald Trump for Linking Tylenol to Autism — Accuses Him of Spreading Misinformation!
Brittany Cartwright isn’t staying quiet — the Valley star just went OFF on President Donald Trump after he claimed Tylenol could be linked to autism during a White House briefing on Monday, September 22.
“Autism was recorded before Tylenol was ever invented. There are many children on the spectrum who never had vaccines or whose mothers didn’t take Tylenol while pregnant,” Brittany, 36, clapped back in the comments of an Instagram post showing Trump’s controversial remarks.
She doubled down, writing, “The word ‘virtually’ is used many times here because there are obviously still cases of autism in those communities as well. I am thankful autism is being looked into and hopefully someday we can learn more, but our children are wonderful and deserve better than misinformation by our own government.”
Even Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder couldn’t help but agree, dropping multiple clap emojis under Brittany’s comment.
Trump, 79, claimed Tylenol — a common pain reliever — might increase the risk of autism when used during pregnancy. But health authorities were quick to shut it down. “There is currently no conclusive scientific evidence confirming a possible link between autism and use of acetaminophen during pregnancy,” the World Health Organization said in a statement, adding that over a decade of research has found no consistent association.
Tylenol’s parent company, Kenvue, also fired back: “Independent, sound science clearly shows that taking acetaminophen does not cause autism. We strongly disagree with any suggestion otherwise and are deeply concerned with the health risk this poses for expectant mothers.”
Brittany Cartwright previously revealed that she discovered her son Cruz was autistic after he suddenly regressed in speech around age two. She revealed that she got him into speech and occupational therapy before a doctor confirmed the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, stirred controversy back in April 2024 when he implied vaccines may have been connected to Cruz’s autism. “I’m not saying vaccines are the cause, but what else could it be?” he speculated — a comment that sparked backlash online.
Brittany and Jax, who split in 2024, have remained focused on co-parenting Cruz, but Brittany clearly isn’t tolerating any misinformation about autism — not from Jax and definitely not from the President of the United States.
