Taylor Frankie Paul‘s Bachelorette contestants are upset, to the point where they may take legal action!
Perezcious readers know ABC cancelled her season of the dating series on Thursday — just three days before the premiere episode. The decision came hours after a video of Taylor’s violent altercation with her baby daddy and ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in which she hit her own daughter with a metal chair, emerged. The 31-year-old reality star is also in the middle of a domestic assault investigation after both parties made allegations following a fight in February.

What has transpired is really pissing off some of her former suitors now. In fact, sources with direct knowledge claimed to TMZ on Saturday that five of them may file a lawsuit against ABC and Warner Bros. Discovery! Whoa!
We all know the men put their lives on hold, quit their jobs, and turned down other financial opportunities to be on the show, which is now not happening, so they did all that for absolutely nothing in return. That’s already infuriating. But according to insiders, however, the biggest issue for them is? The five contestants reportedly feel Warner Bros. Discovery created an unsafe working environment by allowing Taylor to interact with them in an intimate setting with her violent past. Uh oh! ABC and Warner Bros. Discovery could be in huge trouble! Especially after what we have heard allegedly went on behind the scenes!
When the controversy began this week, insiders alleged ABC ignored warnings from Dakota about Taylor’s alleged abusive past, which included her 2023 domestic violence arrest, and Bachelorette producers cut corners when it came to vetting because they wanted her for ratings. Additionally, other sources claimed there were complaints about Taylor’s temper and problematic behavior during production. However, producers allegedly brushed those concerns aside and continued filming. If all that is true, the men could walk away with a big payday, which is bad news for the network because they already lost millions of dollars by not airing Taylor’s season.
Is all this why the contestants had an emergency meeting with lawyers this week? Perhaps the network wanted a temperature check on where the guys were at? Hmm. We also wonder who the five suitors threatening a lawsuit are!
