Something strange is going on in the DC Universe right now. The suit used by David Corenswet to film Superman has been on display at Warner Bros. Studio Tours ever since reshoots for the film wrapped and production neared its end. However, the suit has now been taking down, with a note remarking that it is being used for production.
While some have speculated that the suit may have been taking for early pre-production work on Man of Tomorrow, others believe that it may have to do with Supergirl. The project wrapped filming in May, meaning reshoots likely would be taking place around this time. The rumor mill has also heavily reported David Corenswet appearing in the film as Superman, albeit most likely during a flashback sequence.
Is David Corenswet’s Superman In Supergirl?
Some new insight on the case of the disappearing Superman suit has been given via DanielRPK. The scooper’s latest rumor reveals that Supergirl is currently filming two weeks of additional photography. He also states that these reshoots mostly include scenes with David Corenswet, although it’s unclear if this means new scenes will be added or they’re simply trying to get coverage on existing footage.
Most likely, if this rumor is true, the reshoots would be covering the former. After all, Supergirl wrapped production before Superman even released. With Man of Tomorrow‘s script now done, it’s likely the studio wants to add more scenes with David Corenswet to better blend the two projects, especially since it’s likely Milly Alcock’s Supergirl appears in the upcoming film.
