Southern Charm’s Olivia Flowers Splits from Fiancé Alex Williams Just Weeks Before Their November Wedding!
Olivia Flowers is officially single again.
Just weeks after celebrating her bachelorette weekend in Miami, the Southern Charm alum has called off her engagement to fiancé Alex Williams, her rep confirmed in a statement shared on October 14.
“After much thought and many heartfelt conversations, Olivia and her fiancé Alex have made the difficult decision not to move forward with their wedding,” her rep from Cabine Creative said in the statement. “This was not a decision made lightly, but one grounded in deep mutual respect and love for one another.”
The message continued, “While this isn’t the path they originally envisioned, they are profoundly grateful for the love and support of their friends and family. Alex and Olivia remain committed to each other with a renewed sense of clarity, strength and appreciation for honoring one’s heart.”
“She is very appreciative of your grace and kindness as they move through this transition together,” the rep concluded. Olivia, 33, who previously dated Southern Charm star Austen Kroll, debuted her romance with Alex in late 2023 after meeting at a wedding.
“After arriving late to a wedding (and tripping up the church stairs), I was met by a handsome usher who walked me to my seat,” Olivia shared on Instagram while celebrating their first anniversary. “Later, that same usher asked my date — my dad — if he could dance with me. A year later, and we’re still dancing (and tripping up stairs). Cheers to stage 5 clinging.”
The couple got engaged in September 2024 during a romantic proposal in New York City. “It was perfection,” Olivia gushed at the time, sharing photos from the engagement. “Thank you all for this unforgettable PROPOSAL… WHAT?! I love you, especially you Alexander.”
Back in May 2025, Olivia shared that wedding planning was well underway, revealing that she and Alex were choosing between two venues. Ultimately, she chose to have her wedding in Westlake. As for the guest list, Olivia said the couple wanted an intimate celebration with only their closest friends. Among her Southern Charm castmates, only Leva Bonaparte and Venita Aspen made the cut.
While no reason was given for their split, Olivia had been counting down to her big day with a string of pre-wedding celebrations.
On September 24, she shared photos from her Miami bachelorette weekend, showing a room decked out in “Bride” balloons. “Bach to Basic was anything but basic,” she captioned one post.
She later shared more highlights from the girls’ trip, writing, “Some of you I met in elementary school… You’ve been with me through every chapter. Y’all are my favorite blessing. Cheers to many more milestones together.”
Just one day before announcing the breakup, on October 13, Olivia posted a photo of Alex giving her a kiss — alongside another of him smiling solo. Olivia Flowers appeared on Seasons 8 and 9 of Southern Charm before stepping away from the series to focus on her personal life.
