Sombr fans brace yourselves — after months of teasing and anticipation, the alt-pop shapeshifter has FINALLY confirmed details of his debut album, ‘I Barely Know Her’, and it’s coming sooner than you think!
Scheduled to drop Friday, August 22nd 2025 — that’s right, NEXT WEEK — and featuring the singles ‘Back to Friends’, ‘Undressed’, ‘We Never Dated’ and ’12 to 12′, we reckon the 10-track collection will catapult the 20-year-old VMA nominee into superstar status, following an incredible 12 months that have seen him dominate music charts, break records, and play sold-out shows around the world.
Written entirely by the singer, who also serves as co-producer alongside industry guru Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, Boy Genius, The Replacements, Aimee Mann, Michael Penn), the album is available now to pre-order/add/save HERE.

To support the records please, Sombr — real name Shane Boose — will a string of live dates in the UK and Ireland next year, starting out in London at Brixton Academy on March 8th, before visiting Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin.

Born and raised in New York City, Sombr is the chameleon of the new pop wave — a singer, songwriter, and producer who can turn a three-minute track into a rollercoaster of feelings, punchlines, and unexpected sonic left turns.
Emerging from the underground with a string of cult-favourite SoundCloud demos, the ‘burner phone’ singer has since built a devoted following on the strength of his unpredictable sound — a kaleidoscope of alt-pop hooks, hazy indie textures, and sly lyrical punchlines.
In 2022, his breakout hit ‘Caroline’ took the internet by storm, whilst subsequent EP and single releases have helped him to amass over 400 million monthly streams across platforms.
