Paramount Pictures has shared the official Scream 7 photos and poster for the highly anticipated next entry to the long-running slasher franchise. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 27, 2026.
“When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter becomes the next target,” reads the official synopsis. “Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.”
What do the Scream 7 photos and poster show?
The photos offer a closer look at Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox‘s return as Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers, nearly three decades since starring in the first installment. One of the photos also featured Isabel May (1883), who will be playing Sidney’s teenage daughter, Tatum. The new character appears to be named after Sidney’s best friend, played by Rose McGowan, who was one of Ghostface’s first victims.
As for the new poster, it features the franchise’s newest Ghostface, who’s hellbent on making Sidney suffer by trying to kill her daughter. Reflected in the masked killer’s knife, a burning house can be seen, hinting at the villain’s intentions.
Scream 7 also stars Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos. Franchise creator Kevin Williamson is directing the seventh installment from a screenplay he co-wrote with Guy Busick. It is produced by William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein.
The next installment is also expected to feature the shocking return of franchise vets Matthew Lillard, Scott Foley, and David Arquette. They are set to reprise their roles as Stu Macher, Roman Bridger, and Dewey Riley despite their characters’ respective deaths in 1996’s Scream, 2000’s Scream 3, and 2022’s Scream.
