An ethereal rendition yet so very brand, Saint Laurent’s Ocean Eyes Campaign. Photographed by Purienne and creatively directed by Anthony Vaccarello, the Sun-blessed Beach-as-Chic avenue is graced by theatre with Frankie Rayder and Erin Wasson, transforming the campaign into an unconstrained representation of relaxed beachlife meet luxury. A singular woman on said pebble beach holds up–all very casually-it pink surfboard with “SAINT LAURENT” prominently across it to combine luxury with beach-chic vibes and beauty.

As soon as this appeared on Instagram, the campaign received a lot of attention for serene but almost captivating visuals. With the shimmering water backdrop and the overall laid-back feel, Saint Laurent is full on point: elegance without any traces of pretension. One almost goes on to wish for a one-way ticket-to-the-nearest-beach-the-very-second-this-image comes into existence, preferably a designer surfboard at hand.
“🔥 You must be the water,” was one comment, going all poetic on us and perhaps the only sincere response to that visual charm. Others are longing for an invite to the next shoot, and that proves that these campaigns sell more than just clothes-they sell dreams.
Another user wrote, “Anthony Vaccarello orgoglio siculo ♥️” (“Anthony Vaccarello, Sicilian pride ♥️”). This, for sure, serves as proof of how fashion frequently intersects with identity, particularly when a designer like Vaccarello somehow weaves his heritage into his work.
One said, “This is the content I signed up for 🙌 (My page? Even better.)” That might sound like shameless self-promotion, but after Saint Laurent dropped such amazing visuals, how can one not jump on that bandwagon?
This is yet another demonstration of how Saint Laurent couches itself at the intersection of haute couture and the aspirational. This campaign is a domestic brand of ‘Ocean Eyes,’ a visual love letter to summer-that-a-certain-few-are-still-trying-to-search-from.
In fact, one thing Saint Laurent is renowned for is: making the whole world want-to-be some-A-part of-anything-else, ideally somewhere warm with better lighting and a private beach. Meanwhile, all we can do is keep gazing at this campaign, pretending that holding a pink surfboard wouldn’t embarrass us to the core.

So here’s to Anthony Vaccarello, Purienne, and all the Saint Laurent folks for another reason to live a daydream straight from our desks. Say, wouldn’t they just spill where that beach really is?
