RHOSLC Star Heather Gay Claims Monica Garcia’s Beauty Lab Bill Has Skyrocketed to $60K!
The drama between Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Heather Gay and Monica Garcia isn’t over yet.
Heather recently claimed that her former castmate now owes her a whopping $60,000 — a debt that stems from a legal battle involving Heather’s med spa, Beauty Lab + Laser. In November 2024, a judge reportedly ordered Monica to pay $35,853.60 to Beauty Lab + Laser after she allegedly failed to pay for cosmetic injections. Heather and Monica appeared together on RHOSLC for one explosive season before Monica’s exit.
During an appearance on Housewives Nightcap, Heather was asked if Monica had ever settled the bill. “No, and it’s now upwards of I think like [$60,000], and it just grows every day,” Heather said.
“But we have a summary judgment and … eventually we’ll get paid. But it’s important to pay your bills.” When the host suggested that Heather probably wouldn’t want to film with Monica again, Heather didn’t hesitate. “She’s not my friend, and she’s not in my life, and she’s certainly not a customer of Beauty Lab,” Heather replied. “So I don’t know how I would.”
But Monica wasn’t about to stay quiet. “There are multiple things at play here. First and foremost, I just want to clear this up because this is important — the bill with Beauty Lab and Laser was never $35,000,” Monica said on Carlos King’s Reality with The King podcast.
“People are getting this confused, and I obviously have heard [Heather’s] interview. I had several people send it to me. And they’re getting that confused, like how does someone get $35,000 worth of Botox? You don’t. I didn’t. The bill was $2,000.”
“This is literally all stemming from $2,000,” Monica continued. “The $35,000 number is what she is saying with lawyers’ fees and all this kind of [stuff] — that’s the number she’s asking for. That is not the bill. The bill was $2,000 of that $35,000 total. The rest — you know, $33,000, whatever — is lawyers’ fees and whatever.”
Court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun in 2024 stated that Heather’s company was granted a summary judgment and was entitled to “recover all future collection costs, court costs, and attorney’s fees incurred in enforcing and collecting this judgment.”
Monica’s attorney, Larry Reed, called the fees “greatly excessive.” “The amount of fees sought by plaintiff is greatly excessive in view of the amount in dispute in this action … [the principal amount was] only 13% of the Small Claims limit of $15,000,” Reed said at the time. “An appeal will be filed. We are confident.”
The former co-stars have yet to reconcile, and judging by their recent remarks, the feud — and the bill — may continue to grow.
