RHOP’s Deborah Williams & Keiarna Stewart Quietly Move Toward Settlement In EXPLOSIVE Lawsuit Battle!
It looks like the fiery legal battle between Real Housewives of Potomac’s Deborah Williams and Keiarna Stewart may finally be winding down — but not without some major twists.
The last time fans checked in (July 4, 2024), Deborah hit back at Keiarna’s $10 million assault-and-battery lawsuit with her own $7 million counterclaim, dragging Candiace Dillard-Bassett into the mess and accusing Bravo of staging the explosive fight at Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby’s Season 8 fashion launch.
Now, newly filed court docs obtained in D.C. reveal that both women have reached a tentative settlement and are working out the final terms.
Just hours after Judge Katherine Oler granted the motion to continue hearings so the women could finalize their deal, Deborah hopped on Instagram with a cryptic but telling message:
“God! I give you all the praise!!!!! Thank you for the most liberating news ever!! Courage, faith and a kind heart truly goes a very long way. Cheers to the next chapter 🙌🍷” Her words sparked instant fan speculation that Deborah may have scored a major win behind the scenes.
According to filings, the jury trial set for October 27, 2025 and the trial readiness hearing for October 24, 2025 have both been vacated. Instead, the case is continued to September 5, 2025, for a remote status hearing, giving both parties more time to finalize a settlement.
The court order states that the parties’ representations show they have reached a settlement but need additional time to draft the final terms of the agreement. Keiarna’s lawsuit was filed February 2024, she accused Deborah of smashing her with a glass jar during the post-filming brawl, leaving her with stitches and a permanent scar.
She demanded $10 million in damages for physical and mental anguish. She demanded millions for assault, emotional distress, and defamation. Both sides look ready to settle and move on — just as RHOP cameras keep rolling with Keiarna Stewart in the mix.
