
Public Enemy has dropped a new version of their classic song “He Got Game” just in time for the Winter Olympics.
Flavor Flav and Chuck D teamed up with a bunch of female collaborators to celebrate the women of both music and sports.
Basketball player Flau’jae Johnson and writer/author Retina MC are both featured on vocals for the track, as are musicians like drummer Cindy Blackman Santana, bass player Blu DeTiger, Olympic medalist Elizabeth Beisel on strings, and guitarist Grace Bowers.
Flav took to Instagram to talk about the significant of “She Got Game.”

“He Got Game was made for a Spike Lee movie and when stepped up to sponsor the Women’s Olympic Water Polo team,,, we had to remake the track. I dedicate it to all the girls and women who play hard. We picked today for its release because it’s National Girls and Women’s Sports Day. And we thank the Women’s Sports Foundation for everything y’all do to help make progress. We starting with this track,,, but we creating a movement. And we gonna take the money and give it to the Women’s Sports Foundation and the Black Music Action Coalition Female Fund. Cuz who gots your back, FLAVOR FLAV,!!” he wrote.
