A new post for all my print lovers out there! Prints, especially when it comes to fashion pieces, can be extremely polarizing. When working on RTW in corporate merchandising or developing some of my past collaborations, prints tend to be something that a team can never fully agree on. It makes sense as they are so emotional and subjective. Oftentimes it is quite difficult to even describe why a print makes you feel a certain way!
Prints are top of mind for me right now as I am currently working on a brand new collection (to be released next year) with a very special brand. We are still in the sampling stage and editing down which prints make the final cut! Within my previous RTW collab with Tuckernuck the multicolored wave print was – and is still is – one of my all-time favorites. Typically I am drawn to bright, happy, fluid prints that are larger in scale.
