Epic Games‘ incredibly popular battle royale, Fortnite, is known for some wild collaborations. The latest collab, which will be featured in its upcoming new season, will be with the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
When are the Power Rangers coming to Fortnite?
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4: Shock ‘N Awesome will feature the Power Rangers at the forefront. The first trailer begins as expected, with an animated scene with purple bugs taking over the Island. And then a rift opens, with the Red, Yellow, and Blue Rangers entering the fray, and the video transitioning into live-action with a fight scene reminiscent of the classic television show. As a huge bug crawls out of the depths of the Island, the Megazord squashes it with ease and striking a battle pose to end the trailer.
The second trailer, which focuses on the upcoming season, gives players a look at the Green Ranger as well as another look at the Megazord in Fortnite’s distinct cartoonish art style. Players also get a look at other skins coming with the new season, including the UNSC Spartan from Halo, Battle Gamer Mae, and Agent Patch.
Players can begin earning Power Rangers skins when the Shock ‘N Awesome Battle Pass becomes available on August 7. The Green Ranger Outfit will be part of the Premium Pass (which costs 1,000 V-Bucks).
On August 8 at 8 p.m. ET, the Mighty Morphin Bundle will be available in the Shop, which will include the Red, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Blue Ranger Outfits, as well as accessories like the Go Go Power Rangers – Redux Jam Track. Pricing has not yet been announced for the bundle.
Lastly, on September 16, there will be a Power Rangers, Suit Up! Battle Pass. This will allow players to unlock the Dino Megazord Outfit by completing Quests in Fortnite.
