Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at age 76 on Tuesday, July 22, is best known for his contributions to rock music.

But the Black Sabbath frontman was so iconic that his influence was felt in other parts of pop culture as well.

Always maintaining a sense of humor about himself, the singer and musician made several cameos — either playing himself or another character — in movies and TV shows.

Watch With Us has compiled a list of some of Ozzy Osbourne’s best cameos on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Tubi, Peacock and more.

‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ (2002)

Beyoncé was, of course, the biggest music star in the third and final Austin Powers movie, appearing alongside Mike Myers as Austin’s associate Foxxy Cleopatra. But Ozzy’s appearance in the movie’s climax is pretty memorable too.

Appearing alongside Sharon, Kelly and Jack Osbourne in a direct tribute to their reality show The Osbournes, which premiered the same year, this cameo used some fourth wall-breaking humor to acknowledge the similarity of a joke to one from the previous film.

The family discusses the scene with their trademark potty mouths, and it’s still funny after all these years.

Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath, died on Tuesday, July 22. Though the rock pioneer was known for his many contributions to music and culture, many children of the early 2000s may remember him best from his hit reality TV show, The Osbournes. The unscripted MTV series offered a chaotic, hilarious and sometimes […]

‘Moulin Rouge’ (2001)

This is a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo, but the Prince of Darkness’ iconic scream can be heard in this musical drama. While Kylie Minogue plays the Green Fairy for most of the scene in which Christian (Ewan McGregor) tries absinthe for the first time, her voice transforms into Osbourne’s at the end of the trippy scene.

It’s a brief cameo, but it’s delightfully unexpected and fits perfectly with the tone of the film, which constantly mashes up musical genres.

Rent Moulin Rouge on Apple TV+ or Google Play.

‘Little Nicky’ (2000)

In this Adam Sandler movie, Ozzy plays himself once again — and this time, he saves the whole world from evil. Sandler plays the son of Satan (Harvey Keitel) and an angel named Holly (Reese Witherspoon), who is sent to Earth to stop his two demonic brothers from unleashing evil.

When Nicky’s evil half-brother Adrian (Rhys Ifans) transforms himself into a bat during the climax of the film, Nicky summons Ozzy Osbourne to recreate his infamous 1982 stunt — biting the bat’s head off. Never underestimate the power of a rock icon.

‘The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years’ (1988)

This documentary film from director Penelope Spheeris documents life in Los Angeles at various points in time as seen through the eyes of struggling up-and-coming musicians. Ozzy Osbourne is one of several rock icons who contributes to the movie, explaining how intertwined drugs and alcohol were with Black Sabbath’s rise.

The movie paints a sobering picture of the excesses of the metal scene, delving deep into the history behind bands like Megadeth, Lizzie Borden and KISS (plus many more). It’s the second film in a trilogy by Spheeris, who is best known for helming Wayne’s World with Mike Myers.

‘The 7D’ (2014-2016)

If you’d like a family-friendly intro to Ozzy, check out his cameo in the Disney XD animated series The 7D. The show follows a group of dwarves who protect their kingdom of “Jollywood” from danger. In the season 2 episode “Bummer Vacation,” Ozzy and Sharon voice the Duke and Duchess of Drear — the parents of villainous Hildy Gloom, who’s voiced by their daughter Kelly Osbourne.

This meta gag was a nod to their real-life family fame and tied directly to Hildy’s storyline. It features the Osbourne family’s signature humor — albeit cleaned up for a younger crowd.

You can buy episodes of The 7D on Amazon Prime Video or stream it on YouTube TV with a subscription.
