ONTD's favorite couple on Kimmel

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote their 2012 film Hit and Run, which Dax wrote about their relationship and co-directed. They made this movie before their kids were born but they recently let their daughters watch it (and they loved it). In the movie, their characters break up and Dax loved that their kids were mad at Kristen about it, not him. It’s now available to view on Netflix.They always put their Christmas lights up the day after Halloween. Dax used to do it but he doesn’t anymore because “Kristen makes too much money.” He got a $17k quote from someone local to decorate their Nashville house. Instead Dax paid for his friend (a former roofer) to fly from Detroit to decorate their house for $3k. This friend had a harness and everything but still fell off the roof. Kristen likes warm white lights for the holidays but Dax wants colored lights. Kristen and Dax started hosting Friendsgiving during COVID. Their daughter started a Secret Santa-esque tradition for Thanksgiving where each person who attends their Friendsgiving dinner is assigned to another person and they have to make a gift for them. source
