Nine Inch Nails have announced a new collaborative album, Halo 38, with Boys Noize, out April 17. Dubbing themselves as Nine Inch Noize, the project will coincide with their set at Coachella this weekend. The “38” in Halo 38 represents the 38th release in their discography.
“They could have asked me anything, I would drop everything and do it,” Alex Ridha of Boys Noize said last year about their Challengers collaboration. “Nine Inch Nails were always a reference to my music, especially on my last album, where I explored some of that more industrial sound. It’s quite abstract still. I’m so happy. It’s just crazy for me to, you know, tap into that world and work with legends that are also so nice.”

While on tour, Boys Noize recently joined Nine Inch Nails for “Peel It Back” and in the past, Ridha has performed a B-stage DJ set of NIN remixes.
