Supergirl took over the set of Superman! Fans have a fresh look at Milly Alcock as the Woman of Tomorrow from a recently posted BTS photo.
With Superman wrapping up its historic run at the box office, fans are already biting their nails waiting for any news they can get on the upcoming Supergirl movie. This is especially so given Milly Alcock herself made an appearance in the Man of Steel’s solo movie, immediately enrapturing the internet with her wild and unkempt energy.
Though despite how hype fans have gotten for Supergirl, DC has been rather stingy about what they’ve shown fans of Milly Alcock’s take on the iconic heroine. Her scene from Superman has yet to release online, and the only official photo fans have of her in costume doesn’t even show her face. This has left the internet truly jonesing for something more substantial.
Milly Alcock On The Set Of Superman
While DC is still keeping the full scene under lock and key, they did give fans a small taste of Milly Alcock’s role in Superman. James Gunn recently posted a photo of the Supergirl actress on set filming her brief cameo in the film. While Alcock isn’t in costume in this particular image, it does certainly represent the energy that fans have grown to love about her take on the character.
As for when fans will see more official content of Milly Alcock as Supergirl, the digital release of Superman is (reportedly) coming in just over two weeks. Though when it comes to content from her solo movie, the best bet is that James Gunn will once more bring major DC reveals for their (as of yet unconfirmed) panel at NYCC. Though given fans will also likely be getting a trailer for Lanterns at the event, a mere photo may be overshadowed just a bit!
