On October 3rd, we celebrate Mean Girls day, and what better way to celebrate than by checking out the lead cast for the upcoming UK tour?
Vivian Panka (Heathers the Musical) and Emily Lane (Frozen) will be taking on the iconic roles of Regina George and Cady Heron respectively. They will be joined by Sophie Pourret as Karen Smith, Georgie Buckland as Janis Sarkisian, Max Gill as Damian Hubbard, Karim Zeroual as Kevin Ganatra and Joshua Elmore as Mr Duvall. Further casting is due to be announced soon, including the role of Gretchen Weiners.
Mean Girls the Musical is based on the 2004 film written by Tina Fey and finished a West End run at the Savoy Theatre back in June, after entertaining over 350,000 audience members.
The show follows Cady Heron as she navigates the social hierarchy of high school after moving from Africa to suburban America, encountering the infamous “Plastics” led by Regina George.
The UK tour is set to open in Manchester on February 23, 2026, and is currently set to run through to January 30, 2027, finishing in Newcastle. Check out a full list of dates, locations and ticket options here. SO FETCH!
