One of the stars from Spider-Man: No Way Home will be reprising their role in Wonder Man.
Wonder Man is an upcoming MCU show created by Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. Premiering on Disney+ later this year, the series will star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the titular character.
Who has joined the cast of Wonder Man?
Arian Moayed will reprise his role as Agent P. Cleary in Wonder Man, per Deadline.
Moayed’s character is a high-ranking agent who works for Damage Control. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Agent P. Cleary is investigating the events that led to Spider-Man’s secret identity being revealed to the public. He also appears in the Ms. Marvel miniseries that premiered in 2022.
Beyond his work with Marvel Studios, Moayed is known for playing Stewy Hosseini in HBO’s Succession and Todd Spodek in Netflix’s Inventing Anna. He has also starred in television shows such as Madam Secretary, Love Life, and Nobody Wants This, while his filmography includes 2015’s Rock the Kasbah, 2023’s You Hurt My Feelings, 2024’s House of Spoils, and 2025’s Fountain of Youth.
“Billed as a love letter to filmmaking, acting, and Hollywood itself, Wonder Man follows Hollywood actor Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) as he’s thrust into the world of superheroes, getting powers of his own, and becoming the superhero known as Wonder Man,” Deadline’s description of the plot reads.
Further story details remain under wraps at this time.
It is also known that Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as Trevor Slattery in the new show. Trevor’s past Marvel appearances include 2014’s Iron Man 3, 2014’s All Hail the King, and 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the latter of which was directed by Cretton.
