Lisa Rinna Details ‘Uncomfortable’ Feud Between Daughters

Lisa Rinna showcased her personal life for years on Bravo’s reality series “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but now the outspoken TV personality is getting real about what viewers didn’t see. During a new podcast interview, Rinna detailed the “uncomfortable” years-long feud between her two daughters, Amelia and Delilah Hamlin. According to Rinna, things between the sisters reached a boiling point some time ago, causing a rift nobody in the family saw coming. However, the pair eventually reconnected, and things are better than ever.

Speaking with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on the December 17 episode of the “Las Culturistas” podcast, Rinna confessed that her two daughters were distant for years before revealing where they stand today.

“They weren’t [close] for a minute,” Rinna said before joking about how intense the girls’ fights can get. “But also, we went through a couple of years that were very uncomfortable,” she added.

Despite the beef, Rinna revealed they are in a much better place today and “very close.”

Today, Rinna’s daughters are both pursuing careers in the entertainment industry, starring in Lifetime films and modeling for coveted brands. During the episode, Rinna gushed about how happy she is that her daughters support each other, noting that the dynamic can be “tricky.”

Later, she got candid about parenting adult children who no longer rely on her for everyday support. “I mean, listen, that’s what we are the most proud of is that I think that whatever we did — because as a parent, you don’t know what you’re doing. You really don’t,” she said.

While Rinna’s children rose to prominence through their famous parents, they have begun making a name for themselves. According to a previous report from The Blast, Delilah recently spoke about life in the spotlight and a terrifying experience she had while dealing with Endometriosis.

Two years prior, Delilah shared an image on Instagram informing followers that she was suffering from an autoimmune disease that severely altered her life. “It’s definitely been tough mentally, alongside physically. I’ve kind of kept quiet because I don’t want to be put in a ‘sick’ role,” Hamlin captioned the post.

Amelia also had her own medical scare, which Rinna recalled on her podcast, “Let’s Not Talk About The Husband.” According to the reality star, when Amelia visited Coachella at age 19, someone pushed the model while she was standing on a balcony. This sent her flying into a bush and forced her nipple piercing into her breast tissue.

Rinna shared that she rushed her daughter to the ER late at night after she developed a high fever, fearful that Amelia could be seriously injured. The medical professionals diagnosed the young model with sepsis, requiring her to be on “IV antibiotics” for a week.

According to an earlier report from The Blast, Rinna has an exciting year ahead, including the release of her memoir, “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It.”

“I don’t know if everyone is ready for all of the truth I am unloading in this book,” said Rinna, who starred on “RHOBH” for eight seasons from 2014 to 2023. “But I was certainly ready to tell it.”

“Life comes with a lot of ups and downs, and so much of it gets lost ‘in the editing,’ if you will. It was time to share the director’s cut,” she added. “I put so much of myself into this book; the good, the bad, and the wackadoodle. It feels really good to see it finally come together.”

Rinna’s book will be her first release in over a decade, following 2012’s “The Big, Fun, Sexy Sex Book.” In the new title, the “Days of Our Lives” star will talk about her personal life, her expansive career, and everything in between.

“If she’s experienced it … you better believe she’s gonna talk about it!” the book’s synopsis reads. “This mouth has gotten me in so much trouble.”
