Kroy Biermann Claims Kim Zolciak Is a ‘Tormentor and Abuser’ as He Fights for Sole Custody!
The drama between Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann just went nuclear.
On Aug. 15, Kroy, 39, filed court papers seeking sole physical custody and full decision-making authority over the four kids he shares with Kim — and he didn’t hold back in his accusations. In the filing, Kroy alleged there is “an immediate concern for the physical, emotional, and mental safety” of the children, calling Kim a “tormentor and abuser.”
The former couple — who share Kroy Jr. (“KJ”), 14, Kash, 13, and 11-year-old twins Kaia and Kane — currently split custody week by week. But Kroy claims the arrangement isn’t working, pointing to what he calls “a noteworthy absence of structure and accountability in the Mother’s home.”
He even accuses Kim of frequently pulling their kids out of school early, adding, “The split/shared custody arrangement is not in the best interests of the children.”
While Kroy stayed silent publicly, Kim’s camp wasted no time clapping back. In a fiery statement to PEOPLE, her rep denied every allegation. “The claims made in the recent filing are completely false, misleading, and deeply hurtful,” the rep said. “Kim has always been, and continues to be, a devoted, loving, and attentive mother who puts her children’s needs above everything else.”
The statement continued, “She has been the primary emotional anchor for her children through this difficult time, ensuring they have a stable home, healthy routines, and unconditional love. Kim has consistently been engaged in their schooling, activities, and therapy, working tirelessly to support their mental health and well-being.”
But Kim didn’t stop there — she accused Kroy of trying to play games with the press. “This filing is nothing short of a publicity stunt. Kroy caught word that Kim was filing several motions today, so he tried to get ahead of it by rushing to file this document — and doing so unsealed,” her rep claimed.
“Unlike Kroy’s selective and self-serving approach, Kim files all of her documents under seal to protect her children, not to manipulate headlines or public opinion.”
“By repeatedly filing unsealed motions, Kroy is not only damaging the children’s well-being, he is creating opportunities for them to become aware of these disputes and risk being bullied or humiliated at school,” the statement went on. “These accusations are nothing more than an attempt to misrepresent the truth and gain legal advantage.”
Kim says she will “continue to fight relentlessly for their happiness, security, and stability.”
The messy legal battle comes after years of on-again, off-again divorce filings. Kim and Kroy first filed to end their marriage in April 2023 after 12 years together. They briefly called it off that summer, with sources saying they were “trying to make it work for the kids,” before Kroy filed again in August 2023.
Now, with both sides fighting for primary custody — and throwing accusations of abuse, manipulation, and publicity stunts — it looks like their Bravo-style breakup is only getting nastier.
