Kim Kardashian’s latest Instagram post proves that wrangling four kids for a perfect family photo isn’t always as easy as it looks.
On December 22, the reality star and mom shared a carousel of pics from her attempt to snap a holiday shot with all four of her children — North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6. Despite her best effort and the caption “I really tried,” the results were charmingly chaotic.
In the candid photos, some of the kids look away from the camera while others are mid-move or only partially in frame, capturing the all-too-familiar challenge parents know well. One of the final slides even shows Kim dancing with North in a fun selfie-video moment.

During the episode, cameras followed the SKIMS co-founder through her family’s morning routine as she helped get the kids ready for school. In a confessional, Kim admitted that her children are often the ones who bring her back down to earth.
“Obviously, everything I do is for my kids and they always do ground me. Any time I need a reality check – any time I need to be so humbled – I just go home,” she joked.
“One kid will be like, ‘You’re so lame! I can’t believe you don’t know what this word means,’ ” continued Kardashian. “Or just like, ‘Uh, when are you gonna get a facelift like Lovey?’ My kids will say crazy things, and I’m just like… ‘Huh, okay.’”
