Hardline times
Bristol-based DJ Cosworth is much more than just a DJ – he’s also a producer, label boss, designer and online record store co-founder.
As a producer, he connects and mashes up any number of genres, from UK garage, organ house and speed garage to dembow and hard groove. As head of the Hardline label he’s brought the likes of Interplanetary Criminal, Dylan Fogarty, Amor Satyr and Silva Bumpa to the wider world, not to mention extending into a clothing line – designed by Cosworth himself – and becoming part of a growing vinyl distribution empire, Untitled Distribution, in collaboration with fellow Bristol label ec2a. A fine candidate, you’d have to agree, for a Juno Daily – In The Mix session…
