Jennifer Lawrence felt very comfortable with Robert Pattinson on the set of their new film, to the point where she didn’t use an intimacy coordinator!
During an appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast on Wednesday, the actress shared that she felt completely safe working with the Twilight alum on the drama Die My Love, all because he was “sweet, not dramatic, and really laid back.” She continued:
“We did dance lessons together, which was like team building exercises. In the end, it ended up being more helpful just for choreography of sex scenes and fighting scenes.”

When asked if the co-stars had an intimacy coordinator on set for the intimate scenes, Jennifer admitted she was unsure. The pair previously confirmed to Brut Magazine that they did, but they didn’t feel the need to use one much. And speaking to hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, the Hunger Games star maintains she never felt like she needed an intimacy coordinator to step in while filming sex scenes with Rob:
“We did not have one or maybe we did, but we didn’t really… I felt really safe with him. He’s not pervy and he’s very in love with [partner] Suki [Waterhouse]. We mostly were talking about our kids and relationships so there wasn’t any weird, like, ‘Does he think I like him?’”
Of course, if there was ever a time she felt uncomfortable around a co-worker, she would ask for one. However, Robert never made her feel unsafe:
“If there was a little bit of that I would probably have an intimacy coordinator. A lot of male actors get offended if you don’t want to f**k them, and then the punishment starts. But he was not like that, for the record.”
