Austin Butler is finally addressing what is going on with Emily Ratajkowski!
Back in September, the pair sparked romance rumors after getting cozy during a dinner at the Waverly Inn in the West Village. An eyewitness told Page Six that the Elvis star had his arm “around her” and “kept nodding at what she said” — and they made no attempt to stay hidden while “in a big half booth in the center of the restaurant for everyone to see.”

DeuxMoi also reported the two were “very giggly and cute,” but a source told TMZ that they didn’t show a lot of PDA during the two-hour date. Check out a pic of them together (below):
This happened around the time Austin was rumored to be seeing his Caught Stealing co-star Zoë Kravitz. However, she then stepped out arm-in-arm with Harry Styles, who once had a steamy makeout session with EmRata, and they have been going strong ever since. The new relationship, of course, squashed the rumors about Austin and Zoë. But what about him and Emily?
The 34-year-old actor addressed the dating rumors with the model for the first time in an interview with Vanity Fair on Tuesday. According to Austin, they are only friends! He said:
“The true answer is that I have a lot of friends, and we’re friends and we had dinner, and that we’re friends.”
Uh huh… “friends” … right… They looked pretty cozy for pals! But sure! He went on to share that the scrutiny over his love life was hard at first:
“I just wanted to hide.”
However, his attitude has changed since then:
“I’m going to live a constricted small life because I’m afraid of what other people are going to say or what they’re going to think?”
