A high school secretary in Indiana is under arrest after cops claim she had sex with a 17-year-old student at least five times — and she was also allegedly caught having sex with a separate student by her husband, who then reportedly attacked her.
Seriously!
So, Alicia Hughes (pictured above, in her mugshot) was taken into custody in Union City, Indiana this past weekend after cops there uncovered claims of her allegedly engaging in sexual misconduct with students at the local high school.

Per the US Sun and others, the probe began this past Saturday after officers were called to the Hughes home on reports of an alleged battery assault. Once there, cops determined that Alicia’s husband had allegedly caught her in bed with an 18-year-old student at the Randolph Eastern School Corporation school, which is the same school where Alicia worked as a secretary.
Cops say a confrontation broke out upon the husband’s discovery, and Alicia was attacked. That alleged domestic violence incident is now reportedly being investigated by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department.
But that was only the start of the controversy. Per cops, detectives began digging and soon uncovered that Hughes had allegedly been involved in another inappropriate relationship — with a separate 17-year-old student. Investigators now claim Hughes engaged in sexual activity with that student on at least five different occasions.
WTF?!
Hughes was arrested on Sunday and transported to Randolph County Jail, where she is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond after begin charged with five counts of child seduction in regards to the alleged abuse of the 17-year-old.
In a public statement about the matter, the Union City Police Department wrote:
“The Union City Police Department extends its appreciation to the Randolph Eastern School Corporation for its swift cooperation, transparency, and commitment to protecting the students of the district throughout this investigation.”
As for the high school, RESC confirmed Hughes has been removed from her role as a secretary there after she was arrested.

School superintended Neal Adams said this about it:
“RESC takes all allegations involving students extremely seriously. Upon becoming aware of concerns, the corporation fully cooperated with law enforcement and will continue to do so as the investigation proceeds. We appreciate the professionalism and diligence of local authorities in handling this matter. Because this is an active criminal investigation, and to protect the privacy of students and the integrity of the process, RESC will not comment further on specific details at this time.”
The superintendent then continued:
“We will continue to follow all legal and personnel procedures required under state law and board policy. We recognize that situations of this nature are deeply concerning for our families, staff, and the broader community. Please know that we share those concerns and are taking this matter with the utmost seriousness, care and urgency. Our focus remains on supporting our students and maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment for all students.”
