Hugh Jackman is singing high praises for Kate Hudson!
The 57-year-old actor and the 46-year-old actress co-star in the upcoming new movie Song Sung Blue, which is based on a true story.
In a new interview, Hugh praised Kate‘s acting and how he believes she’ll win her first Oscar for this film.

“Kate Hudson is not only one of the great stars of our business, she is a consummate actor,” he said at the Gotham Awards this week, via People. “I believe this time she is going to get an Oscar.”
“There is a difference, a very important difference, I can tell you, between Kate Hudson in Almost Famous, which was just three years ago, and Kate Hudson in Song Sung Blue,” he joked.
If you didn’t know, Kate was previously nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2001 Oscars for her role in one of her first films, Almost Famous.
The movie has already been getting Oscar buzz prior to Hugh‘s comment, and Kate opened up about the possibility.
“You never know with these things. I’ve been around now long enough to know just to enjoy that people are really loving the movie,” she said earlier this month. “And just, you know, show up to where they tell me to go.”
