Hayley Williams has released her new song “Good Ol’ Days,” debuting it alongside Bleachers at The Beacon Theatre last night. It’s a bonus track from Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, Williams’ new album that she dropped at the end of the summer. “Good Ol’ Days” and another unreleased track will appear on the final physical LP, out Nov. 7 via Williams’ label, Post Atlantic, and distributed by Secretly Distribution.
On “Good Ol’ Days,” Williams references Paramore’s After Laughter era, singing “Who knеw the hard times were the good ol’ days?” The song release also included a flurry of Instagram activity from Williams, who uploaded tons of photos and videos from the After Laughter chapter in 2017.

Included on the track is an affectionate voicemail recording from Williams’ grandfather, Rusty Williams, who says, “You are so tacky. I think that’s why I love you so much” before the bridge. Earlier this year, Williams and bandmate Zac Farro released her grandfather’s record, Grand Man, which was originally shelved in the ’70s.
Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party initially was a surprise drop of 17 non-sequential tracks. When it was officially released on streaming, Williams included the single “Parachute,” another song that will be included on the physical LP release.
To celebrate the physical release of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, record stores across the world will host “Ego Nite,” which will include a playback of the record, exclusive merch, and opportunities to purchase physical copies of the LP before it’s released.
