Gretchen Rossi BLASTS Katie Ginella as a ‘Liar’ and Says She Felt Like an ‘Idiot’ for Defending Her!
Gretchen Rossi is done playing nice with Katie Ginella — and she’s letting the world know it.
After watching Katie fail on a lie detector test during the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gretchen took to Instagram to unleash a fiery rant, admitting she feels like a “total idiot” for ever defending her co-star.
“I feel like an idiot that I actually stuck up for Katie with this group. When they all warned me about Katie [and] said she just makes up lies,” Gretchen vented in her August 28 Story. She then doubled down, slamming Katie for “hurting every single one of us in the group with her lies,” and blasting her for trying to spin her downfall as a “cultural issue.”
Gretchen fired back, “It has absolutely nothing to do with her culture (as she is spinning in the press).”
And Gretchen wasn’t done — she even roped Tamra Judge into her clapback. “Funny how I’m the one who passed the lie detector test 100% … But the two proven liars in the group are out doing press continuing to make up tons of stories about me [and Slade Smiley],” she wrote, clearly shading Katie and Tamra in one swoop.
This latest mess started when Katie twisted Gretchen’s words about the infamous “naked wasted” incident with Tamra from back in 2008. On Juicy Scoop, Gretchen clarified what really went down.
“I explained to [Katie] what naked wasted was: ‘She tried to get me drunk,’ and I was like, ‘I was so sick. I probably should’ve gone to the hospital the next day,’” she recalled. “So when all of the sudden I’m hearing now, months and months later, that Katie is telling some blogger that I said that I got roofied by Tamra, I’m just like, ‘Wait what?’”
Meanwhile, Katie has been iced out by almost the entire cast — with Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, Heather Dubrow, and Emily Simpson all piling on after she secretly recorded Shannon and flunked the polygraph. At this point, even Gretchen says she’s done backing her.
The drama is only heating up, and with alliances crumbling fast, this might just be Katie’s final season in the OC.
