FUBAR Season 2 Cast & Returning Character Guide

FUBAR season 2 sees the return of practically every member of the core cast, alongside some welcome newcomers. Netflix’s FUBAR felt like an unofficial True Lies sequel, where Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Luke discovers his daughter is also a CIA spy. The show was more of a workplace sitcom than a straight-ahead Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie, but it had its share of setpieces too. The season 1 finale saw Luke, his family and his team forced to go into hiding after his identity was leaked to his enemies.

Following on from FUBAR’s cliffhanger ending, the crew are at each other’s throats as they hide in a cramped little house, before they are called back into action when a new threat emerges. Just like season 1, the second series consists of eight episodes and adds the likes of Carrie-Anne Moss and Guy Burnet to the core cast. Every episode of FUBAR season 2 will be available on Netflix from June 12, 2025.

Arnold Schwarzenegger as Luke Brunner

DoB: July 30, 1947

Actor: Arnold Schwarzenegger is a bodybuilder, actor and politician and was born in the village of Thal, Austria. Before making his movie debut in 1970’s Hercules in New York, Schwarzenegger was already a rising superstar in the world of bodybuilding. The documentary Pumping Iron put Arnie on people’s radar, but it was 1984’s The Terminator that finally made him a movie star. Schwarzenegger had a run of blockbusters during the 1980s and 1990s, including Commando, Twins and Eraser. In 2003, he moved into politics, serving as the 38th Governor of California until 2011. He returned to acting with 2013’s The Last Stand, and Schwarzenegger’s next movie, The Man with the Bag, cast him as Santa Claus.

Notable Works:

Character: Schwarzenegger reprises his role as Luke in FUBAR latest season, who must lead his team against a mercenary who is also his former lover.

Monica Barbaro as Emma Brunner

DoB: June 17, 1990

Actor: Monica Barbaro is a dancer turned actor hailing from San Francisco, California. After studying ballet and earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts at New York University, Barbaro made the move into acting. She made appearances in the likes of sci-fi series Stitchers, Hawaii Five-0 and made her film debut in 2013’s Bullish. Her role as “Phoenix” in 2022’s runaway hit Top Gun: Maverick proved to be Barbaro’s breakout, earning her the co-lead in FUBAR alongside movies like At Midnight and 2024’s A Complete Unknown; for the latter, she received a Best Supporting Actress nod at the Academy Awards.

Notable Works:

Character: Monica Barbaro plays Emma on FUBAR, Luke’s tough and ambitious CIA agent daughter who also has to deal with the unappreciative romantic attention of three men.

Fortune Feimster as Roo

DoB: July 1, 1980

Actor: Fortune Feimster was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a famed comedian and actress. Feimster first rose to fame due to her appearance on Last Comic Standing, and has jumped between TV and movie projects ever since. Outside of FUBAR, Feimster has had roles in comedy movies like Office Christmas Party and The Happytime Murders, alongside appearances on shows like The Mindy Project, The L Word: Generation Q and short-lived sitcom Kenan.

Notable Works:

Character: Feimster returns as Roo, the resident jokester of the team who learns to become more of a leader throughout season 2 when a potential promotion comes her way

Carrie-Anne Moss as Greta Nelson

DoB: August 21, 1967

Actor: Carrie-Anne Moss is an actress hailing from British Columbia, Canada. Before her breakout role as Trinity in The Matrix, Moss was a working actor who appeared in shows as varied as F/X: The Series, Forever Knight and the fantasy drama Matrix (no relation to the film franchise of the same name). The Matrix movies forever changed Moss’ career, and in the aftermath she fronted projects like Red Planet (co-starring Val Kilmer), Memento and Disturbia. Most recently, Moss reprised Trinity for the 2021 legacy sequel The Matrix Resurrections and played Indara in The Acolyte.

Notable Works:

Character: Moss plays East German operative Greta in FUBAR season 2, the main villain of the season and a former flame of Luke – who may still have feelings for her.

Guy Burnet as Theodore Chips

DoB: August 8, 1983

Guy Burnet is a British actor who played FUBAR’s rogue MI6 agent Theodore Chips. Burnet’s first brush with fame came with playing Craig Dean on British soap Hollyoaks, where he was part of the cast from 2002 to 2008. Since his exit, Burnet has been seen in movies like Pitch Perfect 3 and Oppenheimer, in addition to shows like The Feeding and 3 Body Problem.

Notable Works:

Character: Burnet’s Chips is a double-crossing MI6 agent who appears to turn good after falling hopelessly in love with Emma, who definitely does not feel the same way.

FUBAR Season 2 Supporting Cast & Characters

Milan Carter as Barry: The resident techie and lovable nerd of Luke’s crew, who is blissfully unaware that his girlfriend Tina is a mole. Carter is also known for Dolemite Is My Name and Warped!

Travis Van Winkle as Aldon: The action junkie of Luke’s unit, who is still pining for Emma and learning how to love after adopting a pig. Van Winkle is best known for 2009’s Friday the 13th remake and The Last Ship.

Jay Baruchel as Carter: Carter is Emma’s dorky ex-fiancé who finds himself forced to stay with the family. Baruchel is best known for his voice roles in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise and the meta-comedy This Is the End.

Fabiana Udenio as Tally: Luke has rekindled his romance with his ex-wife Tally, but they face new tensions when Greta returns. Udenio has also been seen in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Jane the Virgin.

Aparna Brielle as Tina: This NSA analyst is also a mole working for the Russians, feeding them intel on Luke’s missions. Brielle is best known for 2019’s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot and A.P. Bio.

Andy Buckley as Donnie: Tally’s former fiancé who has fallen into a deep funk after FUBAR season 1’s ending as he is now forced to live with the reunited Luke and Tally. Buckley is also known for his roles in Jurassic World and The Office.
