Tributes for Eric Dane continue to pour in.
As Perezcious readers know, the Grey’s Anatomy alum passed away at 53 on Thursday afternoon following a battle with ALS. Many people have been mourning the devastating loss on social media since then — including his girlfriend. Janell Shirtcliff took to Instagram Stories on Saturday to give everyone a glimpse into her relationship with Eric, posting a series of photos and videos.

The photographer shared a picture in which he planted a kiss on the side of her head as they posed on a set of stairs. A black-and-white snap featured Eric smiling while getting a tattoo on his left arm, and another showed him posing in a cowboy hat alongside a horse. Janell also showed off Eric’s bond with one of her kids. In a video, her daughter holds up a camera while directing a photo shoot starring the Euphoria actor. She tells him:
“I want you to look over there at Mom.”
Eric happily agreed. And when Janell calls his attention to her, he looks at the director before asking:
“Are you taking videos?”
To which she replied:
“It’s cute.”
How sweet…
For those who don’t know, Eric reportedly was dating Janell “on-and-off” for a couple of years. And they remained together even when his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, called off their divorce last year following his ALS diagnosis. The Last Ship star then asked Janell to be by his side amid his health battle, and she agreed. A source for Entertainment Tonight said:
“Eric asked Janell to be there for him during this time, and she wanted to show up for him. They’re extremely close and mean a great deal to one another.”
