The Cybersmile Foundation is building on its successful partnership with TLC from last year to expand its anti-cyberbullying campaign during National Bullying Prevention Month. The initiative, called “Give a Little”, seeks to raise awareness of online harassment and promote kindness, empathy, and mental health awareness.
Last year, Cybersmile teamed up with TLC to highlight the real-world impact of bullying, featuring television personality Whitney Way Thore. This year’s campaign continues that effort with two public service announcements, including one starring TikTok creator and Baylen Out Loud star Baylen Dupree, who shares her experience living with Tourette Syndrome and navigating online abuse. A second PSA features TLC talent encouraging inclusion, respect, and compassion across digital platforms.
TikTok is joining the campaign for the first time, bringing its global reach to the initiative. The platform is promoting tools such as Comment Filters and Family Pairing controls to help users maintain safe online environments and is directing its audience to its Bullying Prevention Guide. Cybersmile said the addition of TikTok this year will help the campaign connect with millions of additional users and amplify its message of empathy and digital responsibility.
The charity has been active in digital wellbeing and online safety education since 2010, offering interactive resources, guidance, and support to individuals experiencing cyberbullying. The foundation’s collaboration with TLC and now TikTok continues its legacy of creating safer online spaces and encouraging audiences to take actionable steps towards kindness.
Throughout October, social media users are encouraged to participate in the campaign by sharing messages of positivity under the hashtag #GiveALittleTLC and exploring Cybersmile’s educational materials. By combining the reach of TLC’s television audience, TikTok’s digital community, and Cybersmile’s expertise, the initiative aims to make a significant impact in promoting safe and supportive online interactions.
