Warner Bros’ and Apple’s F1 and Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters were the big film winners at the 62nd annual CAS Awards on Saturday, taking the respective Live Action and Animated Motion Picture prizes. See the full winners list below.
Joseph Kosinski’s racing drama starring Brad Pitt won Best Sound at the BAFTA Film Awards last week and is nominated for Best Sound at the Oscars next Sunday. It will vie for the checkered flag along with the teams behind Frankenstein, One Battle After Another, Sinners and Sirāt.
Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time, KPop Demon Hunters, continues to barrel through awards season, adding its haul that includes a 10-for-10 sweep of the Annie Awards last month.

On the TV front, HBO Max drama The Pitt and Apple TV’s The Studio also continued their awards-hogging ways, taking the CAS statuette for Television Series – One Hoiur and Half Hour, respectively. Netflix’s Emmy-laden Adolescence later won the Non-Theatrical Motion Picture or Limited Series prize.
A pair of musical nonfiction titles also took home hardware on Saturday. CAS showed a whole lotta love for Becoming Led Zeppelin, which made its presence known by winning Motion Picture Documentary category. And Cinema Audio Society voters like Billy Joel: And So It Goes just the way it is, handing the HBO miniseries its trophy for Television Non-Fiction, Variety or Music – Series or Specials.

Two special honors were presented during the ceremony emceed by comic, actor and game show host Chris Hardwick. Frankenstein filmmaker and two-time Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro received the Cinema Audio Society Filmmaker Award, and Oscar-winning Roma re-recording mixer Skip Lievsay accepted the CAS Career Achievement Award.
