Will it finally end here?
Just one day after a judge tossed out her claims of sexual harassment on the set of It Ends With Us, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni‘s lawyers were unexpectedly called in for settlement talks. According to DailyMail.com, there will be some calls next week between both parties’ attorneys to try to settle this case once and for all.
At 3 p.m. on Monday, per the outlet, it will be Blake’s team’s turn to talk. Then, at 4 p.m., Justin’s team and his company Wayfarer Productions will have their say. The point of these calls is for the attorneys to give “their client’s updated settlement position.”

Michael Gottlieb, Blake’s lawyer, isn’t expecting this to go down without a fight, though. He says the jury will still have to hear all about Blake’s sexual harassment claims despite them being tossed out, which he calls “the beating heart” of the case.
The actress is ready for this to go to court next month, per what her attorney said in a statement to the outlet:
“The court’s ruling that Ms. Lively’s state and federal harassment claims could not go to trial was about legal issues rather than an endorsement of the defendants’ conduct. The court held that Ms. Lively’s sexual harassment claims could not go to a jury because Ms. Lively did not sign a contract, that she is an independent contractor instead of an employee, and that the offensive conduct occurred in New Jersey instead of California.”
