EXCLUSIVE: Atlas Entertainment and founder Charles Roven has promoted Robert Amidon to Executive Vice President of Production and Elise Callas to Senior Vice President of Production. They’ve been longtime cogs in the growth of the company.
“Robert and Elise exemplify the creative excellence, leadership, and collaborative spirit that define Atlas Entertainment,” Roven said. “Their promotions are a testament to their talent, dedication, and the integral roles they play in shaping our future.”
Amidon has worked alongside Roven and Alex Gartner on titles including the J.C. Chandor-directed Triple Frontier, the Duncan Jones-directed Warcraft, the Zhang Yimou-directed The Great Wall and the Netflix series What/If. Amidon most recently produced the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios sci-fi thriller Mercy, directed by Timur Bekmambetov and starring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson. Pic releases theatrically in Imax and other premium large formats in both 2D and 3D on Friday.
In earning her new SVP stripes, Callas has spent more than 12 years working closely under Roven’s mentorship. She curated a roster of high-concept feature film and television projects for Atlas’ slate. She was associate producer on DCEU’s Wonder Woman 1984, and co-produced the Tom Holland-Mark Wahlberg starrer Uncharted. Other credits at Atlas include Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Justice League and Triple Frontier.
