Severance fans are buzzing after finally receiving some solid Season 3 news to cling to last week. Collider recently reported via an interview with John Turturro that production on Severance Season 3 will begin this July. This may still be months away, but at least it’s confirmation that the show is still moving in the right direction, which some fans had begun to doubt. Following this exciting news about the future of Severance, fans have been rushing to Apple TV to watch the twisted sci-fi show, which has helped it close the gap between its biggest competitor, Pluribus.

For years, Severance held the crown as Apple TV’s biggest sci-fi show ever. With the immaculate reception of the first two seasons, it seemed unfathomable that any other show could ever take this title from Ben Stiller’s series, but that’s what happened last year when Apple TV brought Pluribus to the small screen. The Morning Show is also still hanging around in the Apple TV top 10 a few weeks after going off the air.
