Ali Fedotowsky had a case of the giggles on a dinner date with her husband after losing her tooth “in cooked sweet potato.”
“Just a girl… humbled by dentistry 😂😂😂,” the former Bachelorette, 40, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, June 25, alongside video footage of her missing tooth debacle. “Believe it or not, my veneer came out from eating a cooked sweet potato. Like one of the mushy [sic] foods you can imagine. Granted they had like a crispy skin on them but still! So funny! And I swallowed it! Then we were going to a comedy show after dinner with friends and I didn’t wanna miss it so I still went. So I had my mouth open laughing in front of a group of people in a crowded room for hours after this! 😂😂😂😂😂.”
Her husband, Kevin Manno, can be heard in the video saying, “I’m going to put money under my wife’s pillow tonight.”
Fedotowsky laughed throughout the clip as she attempted to cover her mouth from the camera. (This is not the first time she’s lost a veneer, as in February 2020, she showed off another “missing tooth” during a Maui vacation.)

It appears she got the veneer re-inserted as the cover image of her Instagram video looks to be her at a dentist’s office. “It’s kind of a big deal. It was unexpected,” she added in her video, posting the hashtags, “#veneers #losttooth #toothless.”

Fedotowsky and Manno, 41, were most likely enjoying a deserved night out amid packing up their Nashville home after revealing they’re moving. The couple relocated to Tennessee from California in 2021, buying what they exclusively told Us Weekly was their “dream” home. (Fedotowsky and Manno share daughter Molly, 8, and son Riley, 7.)
“It feels like we blinked and suddenly became people who say ‘y’all.’ Molly says it all the time and it’s so cute! I love it!” Fedotowsky recalled earlier this month. “But now the time has come to turn the page and step into a new chapter somewhere else. I’m really proud of us for making the move to Tennessee — proud that we had the courage to try something completely new, to step out of our comfort zone, and to follow a different path.”

She added, “I’m equally as proud that we’ve taken the time to reflect, to listen to ourselves, and to make another big choice — one rooted in happiness. I guess I just think it takes a lot of courage to make a big leap of faith in life like we did coming here, but then even more courage to follow your heart down a different path.”

Although they haven’t revealed where they are moving to, the Manno family is excited for “a new adventure.”
“A new chapter. A new zip code. One with (hopefully) less pollen and maybe fewer tornado warnings,” Fedotowsky shared. “We’re not disappearing — we’ll still be back often! And once we have more clarity on what’s next and feel ready to share, we absolutely will. Thanks for the memories, Nashville! We are still here a few more weeks and we plan to enjoy every minute!”
