The Fantastic Four: First Steps just hit theaters to a ton of critical praise. It’s the last MCU theatrical release this year, but it’s never too early to look ahead to next year’s spectacular Marvel releases, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The fourth Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film swings into theaters next summer. Now, ahead of this much-anticipated Marvel return, Hasbro has unveiled their latest amazing mask.
Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, Hasbro’s new mask in their Marvel collection is based on Spider-Man: Homecoming – specifically, Tony Stark’s tech suit he gave to Peter Parker that carried over from his debut MCU appearance in Captain America: Civil War. This live-sized prop in the Marvel Legends series comes with fully articulated eyes like in the films. So you can relive all the hilarious malfunctions from Holland’s first solo adventure. The electronic expressive mask will be $129.99 USD.
A ‘Brand New Day’ Is Coming Soon
It’s hard to believe that it’s almost been a decade since Holland first crawled onto the scene as the MCU’s Spider-Man. Since 2016, the actor has appeared in six Marvel films: Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. In No Way Home he was joined by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of the famous cinematic web-head. Holland has gone up against the multiverse and space gods, but at the end of No Way Home he finally became New York’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
While the last two Avengers films and No Way Home were larger-than-life adventures, from the looks of it, Brand New Day will be bringing the character back to his street-level roots. We don’t know much about the plot of the next film yet, but it’ll see Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) join the franchise alongside returning stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher will also be making his big screen debut for the film, after his beloved version of the revenge-seeker made his comeback in Daredevil: Born Again earlier this year.
When Does ‘Brand New Day’ Release?
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is hitting theaters on July 31, 2026. Holland’s Spider-Man will also be wearing a more traditional comic-accurate suit that made its debut at the end of No Way Home. Before then, Hasbro’s Spider-Man: Homecoming mask will be released this fall. It now joins Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Doctor Doom’s comic masks in their Marvel Legends collection. The popular toy company also teased Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine mask from Deadpool & Wolverine as a future release at SDCC.
