Out there existing in the world right now is any number of animals who have absolutely no idea that their owners are famous musicians. To those dogs, cats, rodents, horses and barnyard friends, the humans who take care of them are normal people just like everybody else — and that might just be why stars such a Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande love them so much.

The Eras Tour headliner is a famous cat fanatic, welcoming kitties Meredith, Olivia and Benjamin Button into her home over the years, while the Wicked actress and pop hitmaker feels the same passion for her numerous rescue dogs — but they are just two of the many A-list artists who are proud pet owners. Though different in their genres and backgrounds, one thing that unites musicians such as Angela Aguilar, Billie Eilish, Josh Groban, Jelly Roll and several members of BTS is their love of animals, which is exactly why Billboard has been spotlighting some of those furry friends in our Power Pets series. Chase Rice told us about his black Lab’s life on the road with him in May 2025, Deadmau5 opened up about his studio-loving felines the following June, and Korn’s Jonathan Davis shared how his hypoallergenic poodle changed his life in July.

But in honor of the many, many more animals who provide emotional support, cuddles and unconditional friendship to our favorite artists so that they can keep making the music fans love, Billboard has also compiled a list of 50 of the biggest musicians who are most well known for loving their non-human children. Check them out in alphabetical order below.

Billboard VIP Pass

Angela Aguilar

Angela Aguilar owns a pet pug named Gordo. During a March 2025 interview with Billboard, the Latin music star said of her pup, “He’s going to be a dad — my [other] doggie is pregnant, and she will have pugsitos with Gordo. I’m going to be a grandma.”
