Cannes Hosts 10th Global Short Film Awards

The Global short film awards gala returned to the iconic Hilton Hotel Cannes for its 10th annual premier on the 20th of may 2025. The prestige black tie event celebrated excellence in Short Films, also including thrilling musical events, charitable auctions and a Luxury fashion show by designer Andres Aquino, who is also the founder and director of the GSF awards.

The 2025 winning films in the popular competition include outstanding entries in multiple categories from the USA, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden and Iran. The Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress awards will be announced at the gala. The evening was hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor and producer Vincent DePaul.

Prior to the Fabulous Awards ceremony was the luxury fashion show directed by exquisite designer Andres Aquino, who prepared one of the most glamorous runways to be seen at the gala.

The show consisting of a numerous of international models and beauty queens including, Irina Koslova, Nicole Cornetti, Daiana Canalas, Stravroulla nicolaou,

Valeriya Hjertenaes, Raquel Richardson with hair and

makeup completed by Giuseppe Barra. An honourable mention to Sarah Larissabruns who received the most prestigious Top Model award in all of Cannes Film Festival.
